Day 9

Pressing toward a goal
Philippians 3:13-16

No dear brothers and sisters,
I have not achieved it,
but I focus on this one thing:
Forgetting the past and looking
forward to what lies ahead.
I press on to reach the end of the
race and receive the heavenly prize
for which God, through
Christ Jesus, is calling us.
Let all who are spiritually mature agree
on these things. If you disagree
on some point, I believe God will make it
plain to you.
But we must hold on to the
progress we have already made.


I posted last night via Facebook
It makes me think when I say "I will never do drugs again!" how many people say "never say never".. Really sounds to me you are setting yourself up to fail!
I then went to bed and prayed "God If i say i wont do drugs again I really wont. I have forgave that person and yes forgot that person also" (yes I forgot that person, but really the stories live on but I do not walk into her anymore) "Please show me where it is that I can move on and know that you will be there with me"

Above is what I got. Thank God for his great love and grace that I know I can forgive myself and I don't have to ever go back.

Whats something that people always tell you to never forget yet you don't want to keep reliving?
